T-Mobile haven’t released any pricing about the white version, although the standard version retails for $229 when you sign up to a new 24 month contract, and we suspect it will be priced the same.

FCC filing reveals the Samsung U380 - a slider bound for Verizon?

FCC filing reveals the Samsung U380 - a slider bound for Verizon?
You’re probably thinking hard already about what this new slider might be all about, especially when it bears many similarities to the Samsung Droid Charge, but let’s get it out of the way – it’s nothing more than a feature phone!

You heard that right people! It’s nothing more than a feature phone with a slide-out landscape style keyboard. Sorry to get your hopes up, but a recent FCC filing managed to dish out some details regarding this device, which is currently going by the name of the Samsung SCH-U380. Besides the close design similarities with the Droid Charge, it’s almost certainly bound for Big Red’s network – well, that’s because it employs a distinguishable V CAST logo on the handset’s charger. On top of that, it supports the CDMA EV-DO 850/1900MHz bands.

As far as features, there’s not a whole lot that can be found from the filing, but it does show it packing a camera of some size, 3.5mm headset jack, and microSD card slot. More than likely, the Samsung SCH-U380 will be priced affordably considering it’s a feature phone. Even more, it can potentially land as being a prepaid device too from Verizon.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 asks for $669 at preorder, all for its Super AMOLED Plus display

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 asks for $669 at preorder, all for its Super AMOLED Plus display
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is the first tablet with Super AMOLED display, and of the Plus variety, with a regular RGB matrix pixel arrangement. This thing hints at being expensive right there, and if a unofficial preorder price is any indication, it will be.

The slate currently goes for $668.5 at Negri, with no availability date listed, which is pretty steep for a sub-10" tablet. Granted, it is a the first living proof that Super AMOLED can be done in larger size for consumer devices, but it's still hard to stomach such a price.

We've played around with it in the office, and the slate is indeed well-built and responsive, plus the screen colors pop beautifully, but we hope that if and when it makes its way to the US officially, the price will be more right than what we have now on with preorders.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus to cost $289 at Costco, bonus accessory pack included

Samsung Galaxy Nexus to cost $289 at Costco, bonus accessory pack included

Thanks to a spy shot that was sent to us by a loyal reader, we now have more evidence to believe that Costco will offer the Samsung Galaxy Nexus for $289 on-contract – just the figure previous leaks were pointing at. What's more is that the retailer is bundling the smartphone with the so-called Costco Member Bonus Accessory Pack, yet whichaccessories the bundle will include is not quite clear.

We should also point out that the spy shot clearly states a December 9 release date for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but before you get too excited, keep in mind that other sources suggest otherwise. After pointing at the very same December 9 release date for a while, the Verizon Equipment Guide now has the smartphone listed as “coming soon” hinting at a possible delay. And since that update was made just yesterday, the information in the spy shot might very well be outdated. Nevertheless, December 9 is just a day away, so it won't be long until we know for sure. It wouldn't hurt holding your fingers crossed, now, would it?

Samsung and celebrity tailor Spencer Hart join forces to dress the famous

Samsung and celebrity tailor Spencer Hart join forces to dress the famousLuxury tailor brand Spencer Hart is to use the Samsung Galaxy Note in its suit fittings for the rich and famous. Offering both bespoke and off-the-peg tailoring in a variety of London locations, including Savile Row and a flagship boutique in Brook Street, it has supplied suits to P Diddy, Ant and Dec, Robbie Williams, Alex Turner and Dermot O'Leary, and will be adopting the 5.3-inch Android device in its "Vault" - a secret measuring and pampering zone for celebrities.
To illustrate how it will be used, Pocket-lint was invited to see the Galaxy Note in action in Brook Street, Mayfair as the tailor's director of retail Joe Woolfe demonstrated the versatility of the device and custom made software with the aid of movie star Rufus Sewell (Dark City, The Holiday, The Legend of Zorro).
The Note will be used to mark down exact measurements during the fitting process in the bowels of the Brook Street store. Plus, the tailor can mark on a visual representation of the suit or jacket whether there should be any extra details around the cuffs, or other alterations. The end result will be sent immediately to the Savile Row base where the item will be made. As Nick Hart, founder of Spencer Hart told us, "it eliminates any mistakes that could happen previously."
Hart himself also took us on a tour of the Vault, which was previously a bank vault, hence the name; the original lockable steel door even remains. And, while we may never get the chance to savour its actual delights - with Hart saying that it's really a place for people "with more money than God" - just spending ten minutes surrounded by vintage 1940s/50s watches, imagery of the Rat Pack and old school Blue Note jazz symbolism, and Oliver Goldsmith bespoke sunglasses gave us a great, if fleeting, glimpse at what it's like to be an international superstar. Or James Cordon.
The Samsung Galaxy Note is even included amongst the other myriad of übercool items. And it fits, it must be said.

Rumor: Verizon Galaxy Nexus bumped again, no show on December 9th

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. Numerous anonymous tipsters are crying that the rumored December 9th release date for Verizon’s long, long, long-awaited Galaxy Nexus is now invalid, and there’s no news on a revised release date. This comes weeks after the flagship Ice Cream Sandwich phone was released in the UK and other markets, and Americans eager for a taste of Android Ice Cream Sandwich are growing furious at Verizon’s tongue-tied non-launch.
To be fair, Verizon still hasn’t committed to any sort of date for the Galaxy Nexus. You’d barely know that they were planning a release at all, since the only official indications they’ve given so far are a blank page and a sentence in a PR report. The LTE version of the phone made surreptitious appearance at a New York Verizon event before being unceremoniously yanked. Despite reports that the phones themselves are appearing in Verizon stores and other locations, There’s no word from Verizon confirming any date, though internal documents had (until today) set December the 9th as the retail launch.
Let’s get down to brass tacks here: this is a crappy way to treat your customers. Thousands of people are chomping at the bit to give Verizon money, many of them at the ridiculous full retail price of the phone, and they continue to say nothing, spouting promotions for NFL apps all over Twitter and Facebook. The DROID XYBOARDs and White RAZR were announces yesterday, and no one’s been waiting for those for weeks. The absolute least they could do is give some concrete information on when to expect the Galaxy Nexus. Alas, that appears to be too much to ask.
