Samsung Transform Ultra to slide onto Sprint

The forthcoming Samsung Transform Ultra has been announced to arrive through Sprint soon. Operating on Android 2.3, the slider phone will come equipped with a QWERTY keyboard for text input and run on Sprint’s 3G EVDO network.
                This smartphone is integrated with a 3.5-inch 480 x 320p resolution HVGA touchscreen and powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor which is believed to deliver faster response time, reduced buffering and smoother streaming of content. It features a 3MP rear-facing camera and VGA front-facing camera for users to video chat while on the move.
               The incorporated Sprint ID allows for proper customization of various components such as ringers, wallpapers, apps and widgets, as per users’ interests and likes. Sprint ID enables these features to be downloaded with a single click and is said to offer a user-friendly way of customizing Android content. Possessing 512MB RAM, the Samsung smartphone runs on a 1500mAh Li-ion battery that apparently provides talk time of up to 7 hours.
              Users can gain access to more than 2,50,000 apps of various genres from the vast Android Market along with several other services such as Google Mobile, Gmail and Google Talk. Weighing 139g, this handset is capable of supporting wireless stereo Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity options. Measuring 116mm x 61mm x 13.97mm, it features a microSD card slot by which the internal memory of 2GB can be expanded up to 32GB. Furthermore, it is integrated with a speakerphone with voice-activated dialing.
            Details regarding the price and availability of the Samsung Transform Ultra by Sprint have not yet been revealed.
