Judge denies Apple's request to ban Samsung's products in the US

The fight continues between Apple and Samsung and this time news comes in from the United States. In an interesting change of events, U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh has denied Apple's request for a preliminary injunction on Samsung's smartphones in the States. Back in April, Apple had filed a suit against Samsung in the U.S for "slavishly" copying the iPhone's design.

On Friday, Judge Lucy Koh clearly rejected Apple's request of a ban on the sales of 3 Samsung Galaxy Smartphones and Galaxy Tab 10.1 in America. The Judge in the verdict said, "It is not clear that an injunction on Samsung's accused devices would prevent Apple from being irreparably harmed". And thus she didn't rule in any ban on any smartphones in question of the Korean-giant.

A Samsung spokesman later said, "This ruling confirms our long-held view that Apple's arguments lack merit". While on the other hand, Apple's spokesperson only said that Samsung's "blatant copying is wrong". This small win by Samsung is surely going to stay as an example for the Samsung to at least refer in the other court of law where both the tech-giants are fighting many more cases.

Just on Friday again, an Australian court had again placed a ban on the sales of Samsung's products Until December 9, when Apple appealed in a higher court against a decision while allowed Samsung to sell their products.
