First Press Shots For AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note Leaks Out

The Samsung Galaxy Note sure can’t get over to the States soon enough. Of course we’ve seen a hint here and another one there indicating it’s not only on its way to the U.S., but the Galaxy Note will launch with AT&T. In case there were still nonbelievers of the device being added to AT&T’s ever-growing arsenal, these photos and additional info should finally put your doubt to rest. Our friends at PocketNow reports that the device will also be known as model number SGH-I717 and will formally be introduced at CES 2012 next week. As far as the specs are concerned for the American version, we can expect the same 5.3-inch, 1280×800 Super AMOLED display and 1.4GHz dual-core Exynos processor found in the overseas’ version. For those of you interested, Gingerbread 2.3 will run the show (sorry, no Android 4.0… yet). The expected release date is February 14th. Of course it’s all speculation for now, but that date sounds like it’s as good as any to launch.
If that doesn’t tickle your fancy yet, this might– there’s the expectation of an HD LTE-version of the handset as well. Also expected to launch with AT&T, the HD LTE-version of the Galaxy Note will also be known as the SGH-i957 Celox HD. We can expect that device to land in AT&T stores in the “near-future”. Are your mouths watering yet?
