Samsung's Galaxy Note rumored to appear on Verizon in the US

The Samsung Galaxy Note broke cover ahead of CES this year amidst word that AT&T were bringing it aboard as one of their new LTE devices, which was confirmed once the show kicked off.
Now, Los Angeles Industry Analyst, Paul Mueller, has confirmed that it'll be making its way to other leading US carriers, namely the likes of Verizon and Sprint.
"It will possibly be called the Galaxy Journal. But it is certainly coming to both Sprint and Verizon during the first half of the year," Mueller said.
This is the first time we've heard of the Samsung Galaxy 'Journal', but name change or not there's a high chance that Verizon will be getting a its own version of Samsung's 5.3" phoneblet and Sprint might tote their own model too.
We can expect specs of the Journal to mirror that of AT&T's Galaxy Note, or at least come close. AT&T's Note, the SGH-I717 comes with a 5.3" 800 x 1280 pixel WXGA SuperAMOLED panel on the front, four capacitive Android buttons along the bottom and an 8MP camera on the back.
Internals include a 1.5GHz dual-core Scorpion processor, an Adreno 220 GPU, a gig of RAM and a 2500mAh battery to keep that large display alive. Special mention should go to the S-Pen too, the Note's pressure-sensitive stylus.
Other than a rumor and a name, details on the Journal are slim, with uncertainty as to whether Verizon will use an LTE or CDMA radio (although LTE seems more likely), but we'll bring you more information as soon as we know.
Would any of you be interested if this device cropped up on carriers other than AT&T, let us know in the comments.
