Samsung Ditches Plans For 32GB GSM Galaxy Nexus

Samsung makes really good phones, I feel I need to say that before I continue. Why? Because Samsung also makes what seems like (to the consumer) really frustrating decisions. One that comes to mind is their offering of a “value pack” for the Samsung Galaxy S and original Galaxy Tab in place of full-fledged Android 4.0 after bouncing back and forth on their decisions because of public outcry. Now, they’ve reversed their decision on releasing an updated version of the GSM Galaxy Nexus. One of Samsung’s major retail partners, Expansys, released a statement on the XDA-Developers forum on Tuesday.
“We’ve just been notified this morning that Samsung have dropped the Galaxy Nexus 32GB from production. At this time, it looks like they will not be releasing it.”
Although the update didn’t include any hardware upgrades, I’m fairly sure 32 GB of internal storage was a deal breaker for some prospective GNex buyers.
Were you looking forward to the release of the 32 GB Galaxy Nexus?
