The most anticipated phone so far this year is probably the Samsung Galaxy S III. The spec and release date rumors are numerous. We were expecting it at MWC in Barcelona, but Samsung said to expect an announcement at a separate event in the first half of the year, and to follow their Twitter account for news.
Since Samsung has been mum on the details of the follow up to the very successful Galaxy S II, sites that are already advertising pre-orders for the device make us wonder. Are the pre-orders real?
The latest advertises the “Samsung GT-I9300 Galaxy S III (3G 850/1900MHz AT&T) Black Unlocked Import“ for $799. Check out this screenshot:

I won’t go right out and say it’s a scam or anything like that. Just be careful with your $799.99… that’s a lot of cheddar to drop on an unreleased phone if you’re not familiar with the website selling it. I’d wait at least until Samsung announces the thing before parting with any moolah.
