Galaxy Nexus has volume problems confirms Google and Samsung

The Galaxy Nexus is affected by fluctuating volume issues says Google and Samsung. Both Samsung and Google are aware of the problem and are promising a fix but did not confirm when they are rolling that out. "Regarding the Galaxy Nexus, we are aware of the volume issue and have developed a fix," Samsung said in a statement. "We will update devices as soon as possible."

Users’ complaints first started on forums - "Volume drops to nothing seemingly at random, volume rocker becomes unresponsive for a few seconds".

Some complaints said the issue became worse when they were on the 2G network, making it difficult to make voice calls. Others say their Galaxy Nexus affected their alarm clock’s volume, rendering the device unreliable. No confirmation from either company on whether it is a software or hardware problem.

The Galaxy Nexus was unveiled last month in Hong Kong at Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich event, and made its debut in Europe on the 17th, and is set for a US and Asia Pacific launch by the end of 2011.

"Galaxy nexus terjejas akibat dari masalah kekuatan bunyi yang berubah-ubah mengikut Google dan Samsung. Samsung dan Google menyedari masalah ini dan berjanji akan untuk membetulkannya. Samsung katanya dalam satu kenyataan. "Kami akan mengemaskini peranti itu secepat yang mungkin." ."
