Samsung Droid Charge To Get The Android 2.3 Gingerbread Update Soon and full specifications

Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Droid Charge smartphone, exclusively for the customers of Verizon Wireless in the US. This handset originally runs on the old Android 2.2 (Froyo) Operating System. Sasmung Droid Charge features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 8 megapixel camera, 4G LTE Cpnnectivity, etc.

After waiting for nearly 6 months, Verizon finally announced the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update for the Samsung Droid Charge smartphone. The latest update is numbered i510.EPF and it comes with updated calendar option, added security, new download manager, new user interface and so on. It is advised to backup all you data before updating the device. The latest update can be easily downloaded via OTA (Over-The-Air).
