Samsung and Sprint will release the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Samsung Epic 4G. The update will reach all Samsung Epic 4G users on the Sprint network within 10 days. The smartphone will also receive several updates including Audible Sprint AIRAVE notifications when answering call, Bluetooth headset sound improvements and a fully visible date on device lock screen.
