Turns out Samsung might have a happy new year down under after all.
The Australian courts shot down Apple’s appeal that would have reinstated an injunction against the Samsung Galaxy Tab the Australian courts recently lifted. While this doesn't mean Apple has no grounds for an appeal, it is essentially a vote of no confidence from the High Court that an appeal against an earlier Federal Court decision would succeed.
The ruling reverts to the status quo and allows Samsung to sell whatever model of the Galaxy tab they want, but Apple’s lawyers
