The Samsung Fizz C5212 is an entry-level dual standby handset with two separate SIM card slots. The phone lets you switch between two SIM cards with a simple push of a button. The C5212 is a basic dual SIM phone, which lets you enjoy the benefits of different call plans offered by different service providers. Despite being an entry-level phone, the C5212 packs a decent amount of multimedia features and sports a slick design.
The C5212 features an ergonomic, simple and easy to carry design that looks appropriate in both work and casual settings. The phone features a QCIF TFT display that allows for easy and fast navigation of the phones menu.
The Samsung Fizz has an internal memory of 56.5 MB and comes with an external microSD slot, which supports cards up to 8 GB. The phone has a 1.3 MP camera with dedicated camera and SIM switching keys. The handset also has a FM radio receiver and recorder.
The handset comes with currency converter, calculator, world clock and 5 alarm setting. Other features in the phone include SOS messaging feature, which lets you send a message to a preset number in your contacts in case of emergency and video recording in H.263 and MPEG4 formats.
The Fizz C5212 combines the convenience of dual connection, good battery backup and dedicated SIM toggle key. You can get incoming calls from both the SIM card numbers, which is a useful feature. In addition, you do not need to reboot the phone once you toggle the SIM switch or when you want to use WAP via the second SIM.
The C5212 allows the users to select the network condition of each SIM like default SIM, data call connection & SIM activation. Whenever the phone receives a call/SMS on one of the SIM cards, the user can check on which SIM the call has arrived. The phone also allows the option of holding up to maximum of 4 calls at the same time (2 on each SIM).
