The new Nexus device has launched in the UK. It comes from Samsung and is called the Galaxy Nexus. At the moment it is only available at Phones4U in the UK although in the next few days the carriers will also begin selling it.
The networks offering the device will be Three, Vodafone and O2.
The Galaxy Nexus is the first smartphone to officially run the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The technical specs show that it has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It has 16GB of storage, a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED display and both a 5 megapixel and 1.3 megapixel camera on the front/back.
Going back to the launch quickly, The Verge reports at the moment that only the Oxford Street store has stock today of the Galaxy Nexus although orders can now be made for the device which should be delivered in the next few days.
