A certain Samsung-made GT-N8010 device popped up on the WiFi Alliance website as the unit received its certification for IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n compatibility. We might be looking at a successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note introduced at this year's IFA.
There's no proof that the device itself is a Galaxy Note follow-up but the model number seems to imply that. While the smartphone-tablet hybrid already on the market wears the model number GT-N7000, a device named GT-N8010 could very well be a successor of some sort. The Galaxy Note is still not available in America -- though there are a couple of indications -- and the device itself is rather fresh but we might see a follow-up being shown off at CES or MWC
