Whether you run Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on your Samsung Nexus S the official orcommunity-way really doesn't matter as last year's "pure Android" does a great job. Face Unlock, however, is missing but there's a way for you to enable it.
It doesn't matter how well it works as a concept or whether if it's more of a gimmick than something useful, you can now take advantage of the VGA front-facer of the Nexus S to enable the feature. It was left out of the code but thankfully the community proves once again that great things can be achieved in Android-land. Regardless if you have a Nexus S or a Nexus S 4G, there are a couple of AOSP ROMs ready with Face Unlock and a couple of tweaks for you to download (just make sure you know your way around and that you grab the appropriate one).
