Samsung Overcomes Patent Ruling In Australia

The lawsuit has now ended with Australian High Court dismissing Apple's ban on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. With that, the South Korean company's tablet will be available for the holiday period in Australia.
Apple has been accusing Samsung for “slavishly copy” their products since April. The patent disputes started with Apple attempt to ban Samsung devices in U.S.  - Samsung’s biggest market.  However the dispute ended with the same result of U.S. ruling out the ban.
Currently there are more than 10 countries, including Netherland, Japan, France and Italy running the legal wars between the two titans. However the tides have recently changed to the South Korean favors as Germany and the Netherlands has the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in their market (However, it is the Galaxy Tab 10.1N in Germany).
So far, there are still more than 20 lawsuits filed between the two companies. However, off the court, the two titans are business partners. For example, the Apple A4 and the current A5 processor (used in iPad 2 and iPhone 4S) are manufactured by Samsung. Truly a player on the court, a gentleman off the court.
