It’s actually been a few days since our last supposed image of the Samsung Galaxy S III leaked. If you remember, one such leak showed a date of May 22 on the phone display, which quickly became the rumored date for the announcement. The image above appears to be a press invite that shows the same date and what could be an image of the most anticipated phone for 2012. Of course we don’t have any way of knowing if this is legit just like any of the other leaks. CNET reached out to Samsung and they were told that they don’t “comment on rumors or speculations” and that the “successor to the Galaxy S II smartphone will be unveiled in the first half of the year, closer to the commercial availability of the product”.
They really aren’t telling us yes or no, but you certainly weren’t expecting them to say that it’s legit were you? How about Mobile-Review Editor In Chief Eldar Murtazin? He leaked an image a couple of months ago and always seems to make a comment about any other leaks. Well the Twitter world immediately asked him and, he had this to say:
My comment about this sgs3 pic….hmmm no commentsNo comment with a smiley face is not a “Yes,” but I would say that things are leaning toward this being a real pic. What do you guys think?
