samsung galaxy nexus volume bug fix on the way

Samsung has developed a fix for the volume problems reported by Galaxy Nexus owners, reports suggest.
The bug, which some Fandroids have pinned on issues with the Galaxy Nexus’s 2G signal, causes the handset’s volume to mute automatically at random intervals – resulting in missed calls and alarm fails.
The good news today is that a solution isn’t too far way. According to PC World, Sammy has already worked up a patch and has pledged to get it out there to users ASAP.

An e-missive sent by Samsung to the site stated: “We are aware of the volume issue and have developed a fix.
“We will update devices as soon as possible."
Alas, the statement singularly failed to mention what had caused the flaw. But we’re sure that’ll become fully apparent in due course.
In the meantime, Galaxy Nexus owners can console themselves with the knowledge that, as Nokia and Apple battle battery problems with their flagship kits, it seems there’s nary a new phone out there right now that hasn’t got some kind of glitch.
