Galaxy S II getting Android 2.3.5 update from T-Mobile

For the Android faithful out there that have the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II you might like to know that T-Mobile is gradually rolling out an update to devices in the form of Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with software version T989VUVKL1, and will apparently be an over the air update to the smartphone.
According to the guys over at Ubergizmo, the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread update will deliver several improvements that have been ‘based on customer feedback’ and thus will delivers such things as Caller ID enhancements, enhancements to WiFi calling along with battery improvement, says T-Mobile.
The Android 2.3.5 update for the T-Mobile version of the Samaung Galaxy S II isn’t compulsory, so if you are not experiencing and problems with your device you don’t have to install the update if you do not wish to.
The over the air update will apparently take some time for T-mobile to get it to all of their Galaxy S II customers so you’ll need to be a little patient on this one.
Now the downside of getting the Android 2.3.5 update is that you’ll have to grab it from Samsung Kies of course, something that many Samsung device users have a great deal of problems with as I have mentioned in several article before.
Anyway that’s all there is, if you own a Samsung Galaxy S II on T-Mobile keep an eye out for notification of the update becoming available to your device if you really want it, and feel free to let us know if all goes well if you do install it.
