Fresh off the September announced and released Galaxy Player, Samsung announced that they will be launching a smaller version of their Android toting media device. This will be sold along with already announced 4-inch and 5-inch models. This one, dubbed Galaxy Player 3.6 (YP-GS1) will be released in South Korea and has the following specs:
- Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
- 3.65-inch display
- Bluetooth 3.0
- wifi
- 802.11b/g/n
- 8 or 16 GB of memory
As Samsung puts it you can take full advantage of the device by using it for educational purposes as well as using it to make phone calls via the bluetooth. It will go for 200,00 won (US$173). If you haven’t heard much on these devices you can check out our hands on with the 5-inch model. There is no say as to if or when this will see a U.S. release but chances are it will as its cousins have already done the same.
